Electric fencing tape - bright ideas on storage??

Am taking down my electric fencing and trying to think of the best way of winding it up without too many tangles , had thought of winding on to a hose pipe reel but a friend says she tried this and it didnt work and still tangled...

Any bright ideas/suggestions would be appreciated...

Easy way, you never end up with it tangled........Get a feed sack, plastic is best, poke a hole in the bottom, put end of fence through hole then feed in the rest of the fence into the bag on top of itself. When you get to the end leave the end hanging out, tie up the neck of the bag with the end poking out. I often then tie the two ends out of top and bottom of bag together just in cast they slip back in.
When you want to reuse just let out as much as you need then either tie or stake the bag containing the unused tape to stop it blowing away.

It will never get in a tangle this way.
