Electric Shock Wave Therapy - any experiences?

What injury are you shock waving?? If it's suspensories - I've just posted on this on another thread!

Bottom line probably is that there are no guarantees of successful outcome - but you could say this about any number of treatments! However - it's definitely worth a try!
 
My friend used it for a horse with back pain and a slipped disc. The used the shock treatment to loosen the muscles so they didn't keep pulling the disc back out after the chiro manipulated it. It was amazing to watch and the mare did really well with it.
 
lol, it's not electric shockwave - that sounds like some kind of torture! it's just called shockwave - it's high velocity sound waves. i've used it twice on my horse, once for PSD which it worked for and once for annular ligament desmitis which it didn't
