Electricity Pylons in fields - are they ok?

Hi,

I am wondering if it is ok for a field to have an electricity pylon in it? Is it safe?

We've got one in ours and have never had any problems except its a good scratching post so rugs can get caught

I have two in my fields and have had no problems in 25 years.

No problem at all safety wise.
As noted above rugs tearing etc.
If you have pilons with cables tethered to the ground then it is a good idea to wrap to foam or similar around them.
