Hi,

Does anyone have any experience using the Elim-a-Net haynet?

Trying to decide if its worth investing in one for my fatty this winter or to just continue with the double netting.

Thankyou!!

I have one for my very greedy mare and would recommend. They are much easier than double netting and does slow her down. A few people on my yard use them and are pleased with them. I have the horse size and they are very generous.

Sorry but I have just received one this week & am hugely disappointed :( I have been double netting with small holed haylage nets & it is a total pain so I thought I would invest in one.

The holes on the elim-a-net are still bigger than the holes on my small holes in haylage net. It's hard to describe what I mean but if I used two small holed nets it really slows my lad down but the elim-a-net is like just using one small holed net.

I hope you understand what I mean, had I seen one in the flesh beforehand, I wouldn't have wasted my money :(

thanks for your replies & upping in the hope of a few more :)
still undecided as to what to do as they arent exactly cheap!

I very nearly bought one but a lot of people said it wasn't worth it because their ponies couldn't get any hay out at all so they had to resort to double netting anyway.

Hmm sorry that wasn't really much help!

Hi, i recently bought 2 elim-a-nets one for my very greedy pony and one for my Horse, i have to say i have been overjoyed with them. i love the fact that they come in differant sizes, and they have really slowed both the boys down. RESULT!! I have even been using the pony sized one for my horse when on the lorry, this has been a godsend. The lady on the phone couldn't have been more helpful, i couldn't recommend enough.
