Eliminated but loved it!

I took my lovely little mare out yesterday for our first ever team SJ competition. We travelled 2 hours to get there and it rained nearly all day and then we got eliminated! But I was so proud of her, she loaded like an angel, travelled fabulously, was calm and relaxed all day (she even had a roll!), jumped beautifully in the collecting ring, and then we went in for our round and the jumps were massive!! So much for Novice! Despite this we did our best and had a really fun day. It's amazing that sometimes days which should be a complete nightmare can make you appreciate just how lucky you are to own a lovely horse.

Oh bless! Well done you, it's nice to see someone who is happy despite it going wrong in the ring. I've been blessed with a super dooper horse that wins a lot but I am always happy with him whether he wins or not. Unless he bucks me off of course....
