Yes, I heard yesterday as she was a friend of mine, but I didn't like to post until the press release came out today.

She was a really wonderful person and will be missed by many.

RIP Elisabeth. I never met her but read her books and have visited the Donkey Sanctuary, she was an amazing lady. Long may her work continue.

What an amazing person she was to achieve her dream for the donkeys, and then to share her delight in the donkeys with so many children as well, a truelly wonderful lady.....RIP Elisabeth x
