Since Ellie got attacked by a dog 11 days I have done nothing but worry about her.
She is still on antibiotics, two more days of them to go, then thats it medication wise. All her wounds have scabbed over nicely, but she is still a little lame and her offside hind is still a little swollen.
I was also worried about her weight as every little thing that goes wrong seems to result in her dropping weight - which she can little afford to do at the best of times. However, we have been on 'operation chubby chops' since she was bitten. She has gone from one feed a day to three. She is three scoops of pink powder a day and she is putting the weight on again
Hopefully next week I will be posting pics of her without her ribs being visable - for the first time since I got her!
Horses! More worry than the kids!
