Elliptical Link on a bit? KY Double Rotary Bit?

Double jointed bits can come in French Link or in peanut/lozenge: this looks like it has the peanut in the centre so yes, it works like a French Link though I've seen HHOs say that a peanut/lozenge can be more comfortable (I'm not sure why - something to do with fitting I think). So that bit looks to me essentially like a double-jointed fulmer - a cross between a full cheeked snaffle and 'french link' if you will.
