And it is all my fault.

When we got Elsie she used to vomit loads and lick her lips or herself constantly - drove us mad. Vet said the vomiting was stress induced and the licking did seem to be too as she has gradually stopped doing it.

OH and I don't argue often, but had words yesterday, no raised voices but the atmosphere has been terrible. Elsie is throwing up left right and centre and is licking again. She has licked a patch on her belly that is raw and bleeding :(

I feel so bad. The poor old girl has been through so much but seemed so happy and settled after being with us for 5 months, but she is back to square one now.

I have put sudocreme on her belly, and OH have given each other and her a kiss and cuddle to show we are all friends again, but I really do feel so guilty.

Poor old Else :(

Agree with PBS, try and remain quite businesslike and upbeat, the fussing and feelings of pity you are feeling will not help x I am sure she will be back feeling herself soon.

LOL, kick up the bum accepted!

I am just feeling a bit bad about our row still, so a bit emotional and guilty. Elsie is snoring like a pig, flat on her back, legs in the air and happy, I'm sure the vomiting and licking will be fine by tomorrow and hopefully she will leave her sore belly alone and it will heal quickly :)

At least we know what happens when she is miserable, so will know when there is something wrong (not caused by us!) in future.
