We had a couple of things to pick up in town this morning, so took Elsie along so she could have a run on the beach.
All the photo's of the beach this morning are usually just that. Beach. Today it was a bit stormy, and combined with a high tide we were met with this:
"Where's the rest of my beach?"
The sea had come over the concrete wall and taken out chunks of the little wall. Note the large wave about to break over the big wall!
A pic of Elsie watching the waves
The sea levels had dropped considerably when we got there, it must have been very dramatic a few hours earlier. I didn't used to be a lover of the sea, but since living nearby, its power and strength is quite mesmerising.
Elsie is hoping for a lower tide tomorrow so she can have a good run through the dunes
