embarrassing problem!

Now that the weathers pretty hot (and if I've been working hard!

) I get "bum sweat" on the saddle

. Its really embarrassing and does anyone have any ideas on firstly how to avoid it and secondly how to get the stain out the saddle??

Hahaha!! Lol.....all I can suggest is a seat saver you know like those 'suede' covered ones. they look posh!! and maybe oil it??!!!

Haha, this happens to me aswell and I get chaff marks on my bum!! Got a dark bit on the saddle aswell that wont come out!

Maybe before riding you could liberally douse bits likely to get sweaty with talcum powder, baby products aren't just for babies!

Wear Breeches with a suede seat if it gets through that I suggest you ride in the evening or really early morning when less hot!!

talcum powder before putting on my jods works for me, helps stop chaffing as well - learnt this to my cost!

hmm but hope you never have an accident and need cutting out of your jods though...could look a bit strange but the I'm sure the nurses would have a chuckle.

I got cut out of my jods once, wasn't wearing rubber pants, but was wearing the most ancient pair of knickers ever, as the nurse got higher up my legs with the scissors I was just cringing

echo the others though, think talcum powder would help you.
