Hey guys
ok so my horse is a thoroughbred x welsh D and shes much more tb [her build and temperment ect.] but her mane and tail is the cobby part
and her mane is embassing its short but thick!! and looks stupid [bles her lol]
she WONT let me pull it!!! she shakes and shakes and shakess or goes mad!
im a showjumper so i dont have to plait but i dont like it and personly it dont suit her
so i was wondering do the eletric pullers work are they worth the money?
or is there a way of pulling it without her going mad?? :/

thanks guys x

If you don't ever have to plait it...maybe thin it and cut it straight SJ style?

Or twitch her for it?

I've had this before with a TB mare. I use a solocomb to shorten it and to thin it I brush it over to the wrong side and comb through with a stripping comb - when you put it back on the right side it looks much better ;)

Tail rake:) my mad ones cope with that just fine, even though they would not let me pull the manes.
I rake to thin it, then use solo comb or scissors to trim it to required length.

Ditto...sorry that's what I meant....if you really really cannot pull it, rake it through to thin it and then cut it smooth SJ style after to finish :)
