I have a lovely mare who has now been a recipient mare for two lovely embryo transfer foals. She is only 7 but cannot be ridden as she is too dangerous, so would not want her to have her own foals. She loves this job and is a really good mum, really easy to do on the ground, more like a dog than a horse, and is a good doer. My problem is that when this years foal was weaned she went off to someone else who was going to use her as a recipient this year, this person has now decided that they cannot afford to go through with the process and so I need to find another person who wants to use her. So far each year I have found someone via word of mouth but now I need to actively seek someone can anyone give me any ideas as to where I should look, post adverts etc. Thanks very much.

Thank you, have called them today and they are not looking until April. Ideally looking to find somewhere for her before then but if not it's definately an option!

Beaufort Embryo Transfer in Gloucestershire might be worth a try - Emma Tomlinson runs it. You can find their details in the internet.

I was going to say Twemlows too, not sure where else would, unless an individual wants her. Only problem you may have is people may not want her til start of breeding season
