did anyone watch the King George yesterday? I just love Kauto Star. had a great feeling about his jumping and did he fly? he looked in control and Ruby judged things perfectly. not that I don't like Long Run - he is classy. I have followed Kauto Star since he came over from France and have seen the highs and lows. To have had those extremes and still managed all those successes. 5 times winner in the hot competition of this era. wow! tears in my eyes and my foot tapped the rhythm all the way round. compelling viewing. Hope Master Minded is ok. Glad Binnocular and Grand Crus won their races too. It all made for a great Christmas treat.

Yes, watched it too. Absolutely LOVE Kauto Star! Was screaming at the TV! And tears in my eyes too! What a horse! His jumping was suberb! I like Long Run too, but Kauto is the one for me. Have followed his career all the way, and to see him racing like that at nearly 12 is brilliant! Hope though, Master Minded will be ok. Paul Nicholls had said its career threatening, but hopefully not life threatening. He's another star too.
