Amazing to think that the riders will be provided with the horses and are not riding their own.
As you say though - what an adventure!

Mostly women riders I think and amazingly as I had a peek at the leader board it was updated! A lot of British riders and all doing well at the moment

tbh I think riding given horses is a good thing-for horse welfare, for environmental and disease control reasons and keeping the cost of such events down. for horseback archery contests worldwide competitors are mostly riding horses provided for them.

Wow, what an adventure. Most overseas horse holidays you would ride strange horses - this is taking it to an extreme. Not sure I’d be confident enough in my navigation skills to give it a go 😮 - pretty sure they won’t use the lovely coloured spray paint we have over here! Interesting the route seems To go from Margate to East London!
