Any suggestions. Would quite like to be able to carry two cavallo simples somewhere on the horse (except her feet lol).

Any top tips for our first pleasure ride next month?

Have you thought of lightweight saddle bags? I went for a day of riding (courtesy of my wonderful OH as part of a christmas present) and I was really impressed by theirs, they were really lightweight, had looooads of space for the essentials and they were very secure on the pony's saddle so they didn't flap about at all when we picked up the pace for a beach gallop :D

Ah they had attachments for going through stirrup leathers and at the top attachments for D rings :o Maybe you can get ones that just attach to stirrup leathers but I don't know how secure that would be.

Any good with a sewing machine? You could always sew on pockets to one of your spare saddle cloths and put a zip or velcro strip along the top of the pocket to make sure your things don't get left behind?

Robinsons have some good ones. The bags are really good and fit all the kit in that is required for the endurance phase on trec. Wether they have them in stock is another matter! My saddle had no d's so I tied it to the stirrup leather keeper and attached another strap to loop the girth through.

Decathlon have uk stores, make sure you get one with 2 pockets,
a numnah of mine only has one and its not enough,
Check out the specialist endurance retailers on line.
There are choices of material.

If you can't get a numnah you like how about your putting them in a bum bag around your waist. I am assuming that they are squash enought that if you happened to fall off and land on them they will not do you too much damage.
