I may be being a numpty here but can anyone knowledgable help please?

I would have thought that because of the long distances there is extra strain on the horses back, therefore what makes Endurance saddles so good?

Why are they more comfortable?
What makes them more comfortable for the horse?
If they are then why do we not all put them on our horses?

What makes them an 'Endurance saddle'?

Many thanks

Gx

well, as with other types of saddle, no one endurance model suits all horses? they seem to genreally have good weight bearing panels and enable to rider to ride with a straighter leg and longer stirrup-so not great for jumping. as to why we don't all use them, beats me :D I am lusitng after an endurance free n easy atm..

Thanks Peteralfred.

It just made me think that they have to be uber sensitive to the horses back so surely thats a good thing and i wonder why they are not more popular for general riding, hacking and so forth.
