...i'm after some advice if you please :-D

Basically, I'm very interested in giving them both a go. People are always telling me that "Molly would be a perfect endurance horse" & i think i agree. But where do i start?

I did a Trec thing about 8 years ago & really enjoyed it, but it wasn't at all common near me then. Does anyone do both or is it one-or-the-other?

Any tips on how i can go about either of them would be great. We're in Cheshire. Ive seen a few endurance things at Kelsall, but they seemed to be quite high level, which we are not!

Thank u millions :-)

I do both :)

Endurance GB have a good starter page, but theres also Sport Endurance you can look at for rides in your area.

The BHS do Trec and you will probably find your local group on their website, most groups hold training days and competitions :)

Although the Cheshire 'Forest Frolic' at Kelsall is a national ride, there are entry level pleasure rides going on too, and a lot of people stay overnight. It was excellent fun the year we went - I think Kezza did the 18 mile ride one day with Spud and the 10 mile ride the next day. So don't be put off thinking everyone is really serious :)

We filmed some Spudcam, so you can see how laid back it is:

Cheshire group are lovely and have quite a lot going on throughout the year: http://www.endurancegbcheshire.co.uk/

Quite a few people do bits of Trec and bits of endurance. I'll probably take my youngster to a Trec or two as it's good experience for them.
