Fenceman DP350B 6V/12V Dual Voltage Battery Energiser

A compact and self contained battery fencer unit that runs off 4 D cell batteries (Supplied) or an optional external 12v leisure battery


This is a great unit for strip grazing or creating smaller paddocks - It will electrify upto 800 meters running off the D Cell batteries or upto 3000 meters running off a 12v leisure battery.

If I read the above correctly it won't nuke her harder just more often
 
if it isnt giving much of a kick atm the first thing I would question given the current weather is your earthing.... are you using a long spike? is the ground really dry...it can help to keep the ground watered every so often too. though if you are feeling it is definitely travelling round then!

using the 12v will prob give more oomph as upping the pulse speed will be increased...... 20 pulses per min isnt v much if thats what it is atm :)
 
Is it well earthed ? It will give a bigger zap if the energiser is well earthed, otherwise the current is going to ground. Maybe test the tape/rope with a fence tester to check current is all the way along.
