My vet has recommended Epiitalis as joint support for my 17-year old WB (knee injury and inflamed hocks, so semi-retired over the summer, then we’ll see) She’s been on it for two months, only ridden in walk and sound right now. He says it is the only product on the market where they have consistent experience with efficacy. Had anyone else tried this?

I tried it on an 11 year old cob with hock arthritis. Made no difference at all and I felt robbed of money as trying to get the last of the gel out of the packet was a nightmare. I do believe since I've bought it they are meant to have improved the packaging so you can get more of it out.

OP did your vet say if he had clients horses on it and if he noticed improvement?
Yeah, my vet said that they had positive experience with it, but I don’t know if it was owners’ feedback or how they observed this - will definitely ask next time

I've used it and was really impressed, was an advocate of it.
Then lock down happened, not much riding etc stopped getting it and changed to a high glucosamine and MSM supplement 15000mg with a collagen supplement thrown in. Cheap as chips, and lo and behold no difference if anything better results for fraction of the price.

I did use one tin, however was as a preventative rather than to alleviate any symptoms. I also tried it on myself as have creaky knees! So difficult to know if did any good as only used one tin

Which glucosamine/MSN supplement are you using and is the collagen a separate supplement?

Thank you
