Who uses Epona shoes? My farrier suggested them for my horse, and I have heard good reports. The only thing that slightly worries me is if they could be slippy on grass. I only have a field to school in and I wonder if they would cope with long grass/wet grass.

I do know people who use them for endurance and have no problems. Any thoughts?

The would be nail on, not glued.
 
Why has your farrier suggested them?

they seem just like easywalkers and should be as grippy if not more on grass (than steel shoes)

They are not a shoe i have used myself as i like easywalkers
