I've entered the uode as our first event together and now panicking 😂 I just want to have a run with my new horse before the seasons over so I know what we need to practice over winter

I've looked on shoestring eventing and cant see anything too horrid but can anyone tell me if theres any steps or ditches in the 80 class?

Many thanks :)

In the last ODE they didn't have a ditch but they did have a small step which jumped well. It was a really nice course and the organisers are lovely. It depends if they keep the course the same or change it. If you ring they will prob be able to tell you..

lovely course. Not had them use the ditches in the 80cm, only in the bigger classes. They have a trakhener but its very inviting. The ODE at 80 in august i went to had a jump step down combination and also a bank jump up, two strides and step down.
I did it as my horses first 'proper' ODE the other year and he loved it. The fences are usually fairly chunky and square but ride so well. Its one of my favourite courses as they seem to grow in confidence and always finish well.

Hey! I'll be there in the 70 this weekend, on the website they do have galleries of the courses though I think things will probably have changed a little since they were posted. My friends who have been have always said it's a nice, inviting course.
