After a slow start I’m really getting into Equestriad. I’ve just tried to set up a team but despite having more than enough number of golden horse shoes the option to complete is greyed out. Does anybody else fancy joining a European HH Team?

Just figured it out (user error). Just set up an open team - Team H&H if anybody wants to join. No idea what the teams do but I assume there will be team events in the future.

I just tried searching for Team H&H in the Teams section but it just kept coming up with "an error occurred searching for teams". ☹️

Has anyone worked out how to make their horse better? I've been training mine and one has quite a high ceiling but the stats are still quite low and some people when you look at them in the line up before an event have insane stats, how?

I’ve joined Ad Astra. Not sure where my team went. I created it last night and was there this morning but I’ve just logged back in and it had disappeared. Must of had a bug in the game. I’m ChIoe

I don't know how any of it works to be honest, a tutorial/training section would have been helpful.

I've joined Ad Astra as I couldn't find the one the OP created, but still don't know what being in a team does. I have you all as friends though, maybe we can work it out together :D

(I've just made it to Novice, woop!)

Yes I also joined Ad Astra. How have you made it to novice?! I am struggling, though still only level 9 so I don't think that helps. I've come 1st in one event, and 4th in the other one so can't quite get to novice yet

When I got to level 10 the novice section unlocked. I've not come first in anything ? I'm so rubbish. I still can't understand the ranking. I was first in the dressage, went clear cross country and kept to the track and dropped down to something like 12th. All I can think is that everyone else has faster horses? Also makes me laugh when throughout the dressage the commentators are saying about how great I'm doing, and I'm hitting the dots with "perfect" and "great", and then at the end the lady says, "ooo what a shame so many mistakes in that test, not what they would have hoped for". Makes me laugh!

The dressage makes me laugh too as I'm doing perfect moves but apparently its going badly!

I think its unfair some of the level of horses people have at the basic levels, it makes it unfair. I can't get above 11th on the 3rd level of novice

It’s not pot hunting if they’re having to repeatedly play competitions to get enough rider rep to get to the next level to unlock more comps. The grinding to get to level 20 is really really boring.
Also the challenges each day generally involve winning at the ‘qualifier’ level and completing challenges unlocks rewards so I can see why people are playing them.

And you get the same £ reward, horse XP, and rider rep regardless of if you come first or last (or anywhere in between) so I really don’t think it counts as pot hunting!

I agree they definitely need more courses, im on level 16 but have 4 more levels to grind through, im not noticing much notable improvement in my horses stats despite grinding away

I joined Ad Astra as my Team was deleted. It then kicked me out of Ad Astra so I've re-joined. I have also tried adding people as friends and got an error message grrrr! I think there have been some bug fixes already as I stopped grooming my horse for a few days as it took longer than brushing a real one but today it has been super quick.

I'm stuck at Jardy horse trials on qualifier. Lots of excellent in the dressage and no jumping penalties in either round but I still keep coming 23rd or worse. I'm not sure how the scoring works but it seems to have got harder as the week has gone on. I won Herning but could only get 16th at Bromont. Childishly really enjoying it though. I'm wondering if I need to spend real £££ on a horse to progress.

I think i improved slightly on buying a rather pleasing tan jump saddle i don't know if that had anything to do with it... I'm not using fly veils though I hate the things in real life! I also now have a black bridle and brown saddle which is upsetting i have a smart black saddle pad with turquoise trim

I'm stuck on the last 2 novice events just can't get near the top despite perfect jumps- im already way down the leaderboard after dressage despite not getting worse than good on a move then drop further after xc before a good sj redeems it slightly

I also don't bother much with the brushing just once in a while
