Where do you all find out about local events? Its easy finding all affiliated stuff but i have recently bought a new 4 year old so fancy doing a few pleasure rides, unaff showing, ode etc etc -

Where do all these places advertise?? Based in North Yorkshire if that helps but i was wondering if there are websites that advertise for all over the country?

Could also try the Farmers Guardian - Friday's
Yorkshire Post - Saturday
Pony Club websites
BHS website and look for local riding club's, they should link you through to the club site
Look on Equestrian Centre website's, not sure which part of Yorkshire you are but Northallerton, Richmond, Eleanor Mercer, Helen Bells are a few good one's to try out

My local area is terrible at advertising shows - 9 times out of 10 you have to find the event yourself. Essentially there's a list of places that run things from time to time here in Fife, and you just have to check each place's website individually all year round. The local pony clubs also sometimes put a few local unaffiliated shows on their event list in case members are interested.
