Hi

I am desperately searching for a house for sale within 15 miles of York - Love Welburn/Castle Howard area/Terrington - Also Kirkham Abbey, Firby area - or other side of York towards harrogate - Green Hammerton/Martom cum Grafton etc etc

4 beds, around 3 - 5 acres of land (stables, arena a bonus but dont mind building these), love barn convertions or farm type houses - we have been looking for over 8 months but nothing we love - budget upto £750k for right house...

have you tried contacting Carter Jonas, Frank-Wrights, Smiths Gore and all the local estate agents to find suitable properties?

plus, if you're prepared to go a little further north, then thirsk area is a bit cheaper!

Are you sure you don't want to live near Market Harborough, you can have ours for £595k lol 5.6 acres too!

Have you tried all the estate agents in Malton? For Welburn area. Cundalls is one.
Other than than, I don't know. I don't think places like that come up for sale very often. Unless you bought somewhere and built your own stables etc?
