Equestrian stockholm breeches sizing

Has anyone bought breeches from Equestrian Stockholm and if so how does the sizing work??! They have a detailed measurement chart (hip, seat, thigh, knee are all included) and when I measure myself it comes out at size 42, which sounds big to me (I'm normally size UK 8-10, but on their scale I am the second from largest size, which doesn't sound right). Unless all those Swedish riders range from svelte to skeletal!

Any help appreciated. In Pikeur I am size 40 so perhaps it's the same as German sizing...?

Can't help with ES sizing but Pikeur 40 is approx a UK 12 and they're known for coming up on the large size. So it ES come up small a 42 would be about right.

I'm the same with Pikeur vs Eurostar, have to size up to a 42 for Eurostar.
