So in the paper today today is the schedule for the Olympics. The equestrian bits are in Greenwich Park.

I'm just wondering how the eventing will work? Will all the XC jumps be in an arena? Or is there space there to go 'across country'?

Sorry to hijack your thread but I'm wondering if anyone knows when tickets go on sale and how much they'll cost (XC day and say some of the pure SJ)?

No idea how the XC will run in the park to be honest!

Tickets registration as such opens on the 15th March to register what you want to buy/when. Closes 6 weeks later and then they're allocated, most likely by the ballot method if they're over subscribed which they will be (think Wimbledon).

XC is £55. Pure show jumping tickets range from £20 to £275, depending on which part of the competition it is and where you end up sitting. And no you can't view seating plans so it's really hit and miss :)

To the OP, the answer's in the name given it's Greenwich park ;) :D XC they're bringing portable jumps for the course (which is already marked out btw and supposedly it'll be a tight/almost figure of 8 type course) and they're building an arena for the dressage and sj but won't be huge. The whole park will be shut to the general public during the Olympics.
