Has/does anyone use these? I've heard they can help a horse engage his hindquarters but as I haven't seen them being used I dont know..and they are pricey so I just thought I'd ask before I part with some cash..done a bit of research on line and can't find much about the equ ami one..

Have got the pessoa lunging aid - after recommendation - and find ti very good..don't know about the other

I've never seen an Equi ami in real life and I can't seen to be able to have a proper look at it in pictures, but I think that the back bit is independant and just clips onto the roller, it's not attached to the horses mouth like it is on a pessoa.
The look like a good idea to me, but I sort of invented something very similar myself by taking my pessoa apart!!

You can ride in an Equi Ame too apparently.

I use the Pessoa, well actually it's a Whittaker but the same thing but cheaper and comes with surcingle. I find it really useful and it's helped my friend to get her horse to engage. Worth a try - might be best to borrow one first to see what you think!

I have used a pessoa but have found that they can evade and not necessarlity stay straight in them.

My physio went and watched the equiami in use and he thought it was VERY good, so much so that he has bought one. There is also a seperate riding aid. If you buy both together then you get a bit of a deal.

I've got an equi-amy and it's great. Really easy to adjust very good quality rope is used and believe me mines been through it's paces over the last year. My half ton of horse has even stood on the runners/clips and they stood up to it not a dent.

For value of money absolutely no complaints at all. Wouldn't pay the price of a geniune pessoa.

Very easy to fit and very good quality. At the moment I notice equi-amy have developed a ridden one, which I might invest in as well.
