equi boot sizes

sorry me again!!

trying to buy some equi boots, but havent got a clue about sizes, they have given me:
small E2
Medium E3
Large E4
Hunter E5
Extra Large E6

how do u know what size fits which!!??

Not sure if this is any help, but it's meant to correspond to the size of shoes the farrier puts on. (on the horse not himself!)

I meant to add - if you are going to use it as a poultice boot. you'll have to get a bigger size then normal to allow for poultice, bandages etc

State measurements of the bottom of the hoof across the widest point. 4 - 4 ½" - Order Small (E2). 4 ½" - 4 7/8" -Order Medium (E3). 4 7/8" - 5 ¼" - Order Large (E4). 5 ¼" - 5 ¾" - Order Hunter (E5). 5 ¾"- 6 ¼" - Order Ex Large (E6).

Thats measuring their foot naked, or, ask you farrier what size shoes your horse has

thanks... just using them as i cant get him shod till friday, but hes got suck flat feet thats hes crippled and cant even walk on level ground without limping, can u turn out in them??
