I currently rent an HBX506. It’s a lovely trailer, a bit rattly but nice. I had a very nasty accident a month ago when pony decided to back out of trailer and the lead rope got wrapped around my hand. I nearly lost my finger. Pony can be an obstinate bugger to load. I want to do so much, but the fact she’s so hit and miss is leading me to think about the possibility of renting a day trekker long term. She loads brilliantly in a 3.5t but no budget for that. Other half happy for me to rent trailer though. Any thoughts please? Long term hire means any problems the company will sort maintenance and servicing. I would insure it, as I already do with current trailer.
I have done lots of loading work with her. Sometimes she will load and sometimes she won’t. My accident was the final straw. Appreciate any thoughts! X
