Equi trek night trekka

I have the carriage treka which is the same layout with an opening wall between the horse area and living bit .
My living bit is unfitted so cant comment on fittings.
It's big and long but tows very very well I tow it with a range rover and you will need a big 4x4 to tow it.
If it the same sizes as mine you will fit reasonable living for two in it easily but be careful to check this does not overload the front end.
If the horse area is the same as the carriage treka be cautious there's not as much space as you would think.
I have only had my 16.1 in mine he's a chunky Clydesdale x and it's pretty tight getting him in and out it would carry two of my sized horses.
I would not like to deal with a nervous horse in it.
The petitions are my main bug bear they are ridicously heavy ( much heavier than my lorry petitions ) and a pain to handle I think there are different ones available so look into that.
I think my ramp looks flimsy verses say my IW's.
I don't normally travel a horse in mine it's converted to have a stable on the side it takes my carriage and quad and all my stuff to HDT ( the horse goes in the lorry).
The three axles does make it a bit difficult in tight spaces but it's very steady to tow and great on the motorway.
Hope this helps.

I have a night trekka (they are quite rare and hard to get hold of) and cannot fault it! Unladen it is 1400kgs, so only 300kgs heavier than an Ifor 510 (which is what I changed from).
Tows like a dream, no wider than my car but still ultra stable. Horses love it! It has everything you would want from a small lorry without any of the expense. Living is superb and is roomier than the newer show trekka. It is only a twin axle so although a little longer than a standard trailer, nowhere near as long as the 5* version. Worth doing your research but if you can't afford the newer models and you want nice overnight living, then try and find one of these. Ours is like a home from home, with tv etc, wouldn't be without it!

Hi I can see this an old thread but i also have the rather rare night trekker, still in very good condition, tows like a dream with a 4x4 mazda b2500 pickup. Living isnt luxurious but would certainly see you through a weekend away.
