But Rambo is right, you do need the biggest of biggie 4x4s
I've spoken to a horse transporter who switched to an Equitrek from a wagon and said it's the best thing he ever did.
He said anthing will load in it, and the horse genuinely seem to love the rear facing travel. When you break they can just sit on their bottom rather than bracing against a breast bar.
Hi, they're a great trailer but you must check up on the weight of the particular one you want because the weights differ tremendously. The add the weight of a couple of horses & you may find that you need, as a previous poster has said, the biggest of the biggies 4x4.
I know someone who has one & they initially had a long wheelbase Frontera to tow it. It struggles just towing one horse in it. She now has a Range Rover & that tows it alright with 2 on board
Good Luck
I'll be towing with an ISUZU trooper 4x4 so should have enough muscle. Can't afford one with living just the basic. Partner's putting off retirement again to pay for it! Thanks for all the replies, they put my mind at rest.
