Does anyone have any experience of this? I saw a friend's horse wearing his today and whilst it is very simple, I noticed a significant difference in his bum. And before anyone suggests using a normal theraband or tailbandage, I can confirm the bands have much more strength to them.

No experience sorry, but following with interest and hoping others come along soon with insights!

Is your friends horse in rehab for something specific or is it being used for general core strengthening?

They're rather expensive 😳!!

At a glance I'd be more inclined to go down the TTouch wrapping route, which looks a lot more versatile than this.

I also don't think you necessarily need anything stronger than a tail bandage, which is what I use (well, several, depending on how much I'm wrapping).

My physio wants me to try one of these on one of mine .
I have not got round to ordering one as £200 is a lot for what it is .
I also worry a bit that the belly strap might cause the saddle cloth to bear down on the back .
I think it would be easy to make one, teraband is easy to buy .
I would certainly try a tail bandage to gauge your horse reaction before forking out a lot of money.

Thanks to everyone who responded to this thread. I have taken the plunge and ordered one this week. Horse has been working with a tail bandage wrapped round his butt in the interim and I am fed up of faffing about with it, knotting it into place etc so will be glad to be able to just clip the equiband things on. Also, using the tailbandage was fine to start with but now he is ready for a bit more "tension" but the bandage is too "giving". Fingers crossed he won't object to his new acquisition! I have also learnt that long reining is officially knackering....

I have not done so yet so I would love to hear how you get on with yours .

Absolutely Goldenstar, I knew you were considering it so had made a little mental note to let you know how things worked out. I have put my cash into this and shelved the potential fairfax bridle acquisition for now....

ACE bandages can give the requisite tension in my opinion - available on Amazon - however, I am happy to faff and knot as required quite a lot in order to save £200!
