I picked up a leaflet on this product the other day, and am thinking of trying it on my young horse whose current response to spooks etc (whip round and charge off, bucking until rider falls off) I consider "inappropriate" (i.e. dangerous!). Just wondering if anyone else has tried it. There are testimonials on their website, but I'm always a bit suspicious of these. Any other suggestions gratefully received!.

J has been on it now for about 3 months, at first I thought it really worked, now he is just the same as he used to be, despite being turned out at night and ridden to death! So once it runs out will not buy anymore, might regret that though if he gets even worse!

I think it worked on my gelding when I first used it, unfortunately he stopped eating his food, so I don't use it now and realised that he just needs me to me more confident

I do know several people on here that do use it and believe it works for their horse.

I believe it does work but i think they need a break from it now and again, i have a very spooky horse and it made a massive difference when i started using it. I would say it is worth trying, it is the best calmer i have used and i have tried a lot!!

I've used it for nearly three years now on one horse and about a year on another and it works for them. However, it works as described on the website, so don't expect overnight miracles and it will only work if the horse has a magnesium deficiency in the first place (they now do a more palatable version although none of mine have had a problem eating the original one).
