Equihunter Horseboxes

not seen one in the flesh yet although we are planning on a trip to their build centre soon to check out a new build they are working on.

The info I've seen on them so far is very impressive, and the smaller boxes have a decent payload too :)

Although I overheard that they'd recently sold one to Squibb Demolition so they must be decent boxes ;) ......

Thanks for that. I'd be interested to hear what you think after you have been to their build centre. I really like the design and style of their wagons from what I've seen online!

Did you go to the equihunter place would be interested to know about the horseboxes

yes we did, really impressed TBH :)
The build quality is very good and they were happy for us to ask questions and there were 2 boxes in build when we were there, a 3.5 and a 7.5 so we could see how they look in the flesh before the paint goes on

I'm currently working on my OH to see if next year we can stretch to one ;)

Hi thanks for the reply. We went to see a completed one last week, looked really good. Have just ordered one, I'm based in Cornwall so was a real trek to see one, but it really was worth the travelling....

Hi rockymountain
I'd be really interested to hear how satisfied you are with your Equihunter box. I'm looking for a 3.5ton box and the Equihunter is on my short list.
Thanks! :)

Hi ya

I am really happy with my Equihunter, it is a lovely box to drive, Chris is very professional and has horses himself, I had side opening doors not the push up variety.

We also had the double thickness rubber flooring and twin breast bars to keep the horses back from the living area, one of the horses is quite nasty when travelling and bucks and rears, he travels really well in the Equihunter, and it has stood up to him bucking, he also picks his feet up and throws them down on the wheel arch, although the wheel arch is scratched by his shoes, there is no actual damage.

I would have no hesitation in recommending these , my choices were between the
Bloomfield and the Equihunter Nd I am not dissapointed with my decision. Make sure you get a good chassis ( Chris can get you one ) if you wish to know any more please just ask. Tell Chris you asked me, if you are down in Cornwall come and have a look....

Hi
Thanks so much for replying. I too have narrowed it down between Bloomfield and Equihunter. Very kind of you to offer to let me see yours but I'm Yorkshire based so quite far away! I'm going to look at both Bloomfields and Equihunter to see build quality but it's reassuring to hear from someone who has one.
Thanks again! :)
