Does/has anyone used the above balancers?- never really needed to use balancers, but my foal is on a stud balancer but I feel he needs something more basic as he is a good doer, his weight is just right and I don't want him getting "top heavy", so was thinking of switching him to one of these instead and wondered which to go for? (he has a double handful of Happy Hoof with it as well)

Or what other options are there? what do you feed your youngstock that are good doers? thanks! (will also post in breeding too)

We fed our then youngster Equilibrium growth, she is a very good doer being out of a cob X mare by a Holstien stallion.
Is a very individual subject but this worked for us.

I have used the Equilbra on several horses. Miss Delia, aged TB - helped her put on condition, gave nice coat. Chancer, gypsy cob and Farra, clydesdale. These had it and it really helped put on muscle and topline when they were four year olds but not fat.

If Chancer drops topline during the showing season, a bag of this really seems to put him back in tip top condition - ie helps the muscle come back faster but not fat.

I normally feed just Feedmark's benevit and they have linseed and brewers yeast for their coat, gut and joint health, but the Equilbra top up really does notice within a few weeks when I need it.

Just a quick reply-
