I have just bought one and as soon as I could I put the battery on charge, now I'm sure that when I first out in on charge at 1'oclock the little red light was on. The light is now off but is has only been on charge for approx 3 hours, it does say to leave for 8 hours.

So my query is did your red light go off before the suggested 8 hours was up. does the red light go out once its charged.

I'm a not very patient numpty!

mine went out before the reccomended 8hrs first time, and usually goes out before 3 hours on normal charging now, but dont know if it means it s fully charged so i leave it the 3 hours anyway. thats not really much help is it!
 
Gabanna - no you were helpful in that mine appears to have done the same, so I'm not worried that its not working.

I always always seem to buy something with a fault.
 
Thanks as much as its killing me not to use it, I will leave for the full 8 hours, I just need to hide the battery charger as OH doesn't know that I've splashed out on one!.

I've just bought one and mine wasn't charged the full 8 hours but still seems to be working fine! Does anyone know if they are OK to use on humans??!! I've been lying on mine to relieve backache but suppose its probably not great for them to be squashed?!
The horse is getting used to it, he's a bit "what is GOING on???!!" and spooked at the moment

I know someone who puts it on the chair as in drapped over the inside of the back of the chair , then sits in the chair and uses it this way.

I bought one for R's horses but before I gave it to her I made OH lean back against it on the sofa and he fell asleep more or less immediately - honestly (I'm not making it up), it was quite amazing

My little red light rarely lights up, but still works fine

If you have it on the high setting a lot (like me!) it will only last max 1 1/2 hours (3 sessions) before charging.
