I like them but not sure I would put them on a horse that struck into himself as they are not as robust as most brushing boots.
I use them daily on the dressage horses to try to keep their legs a bit cooler than with some of the other boots but one of my horses was messing about at a show and did destroy one of them.
Not really - I have a set and they don't offer much protection for big moving horses or ones who are inclined to brush. I use them in the summer as they are cooler but wouldnt fork out for them again - to be fair - it does say that they are not suitable for big movers!
I'm not a fan. I find they slip down quite easily and don't really offer that much protection. May just be that they don't suit the particular horses I've tried them on but personally I'd rather use bandages or woof type boots for support or brushing as needed.
Iv heard a few people say they fall down, and htey did on my cob, but never have on my pony - i put it down to my cobs legs being 'cobby' and shrinking with work!
