Has anyone here tried, or knows of someone who has tried, the Equilibrium therapy back pad??

I was thinking of getting one to use on Frankie - see if it can help with his stiffness. *Used in parallel with fittening work I would like to add

Would like to hear of anyones thoughts and opinions, I don't know if it would be a waste of money???

One of my friends has the back pad for her horse. He is a little thoroughbred x race horse and when she bought him he had a very sore back, partly due to ill fitting saddles. She got the physio out who sorted him out and she bought the magnetic back pad. I think he wears it every night under his rug. It has made a huge difference to him.
I have a magnetic rug which does the same sort of thing, but just be warned, not all horses cope with magnets! I only found this out when putting my rug on one of my horses for the first time, and he would just throw himself on the floor

The physio said it is very unusual, but some horses can react badly to magnets! Trust mine to be one of them

My other horse is fine with them and he has also worn magnetic boots, but the new boy wont tolerate it at all!

Oh Christ!

So if I borrow one and try it on him, make sure he is in a large stable and has lots of bedding

How strange!

I might run it past his physio

Im sure he will be fine. My physio said it is unusual for them to react badly to them, but then my horse is unusual!

I have got one,it s very good and I think they have the stongest magnets. I also have the leg wraps. I put them on his back legs and N E W on the front. His legs blew up but that that was because I hadn't built up the time ( not taking into account how strong the magnets are ) I also checked with physio before I started using them.
