I am interested in stable mats for my ponies however i have an earth floor. I don't know which one would be the best mats to get. I like the look of the Equimats but not sure if they will be any good.

Has anybody got any ideas?

i have equimats on a concrete floor and some normal black matting in my other stable with an earth floor. i think any decent matting would be fine as they drain well .equimats are quite expensive. i have had new mobile stables built and will just get some cheapish rubber matting

Hey, I have equimats and so far they have lasted 7 years in pretty good nick. They don't jigsaw click together as good as they did but that cos a naughty stallion thought they tasted good!

Equimats are fabulous. They come in different thickness.More expensive than others but they will last for years and well worth the money. Cheaper ones are good too but the difference is obvious.

All I would say is that if you have an uneven floor they may well stretch and pull out of the join.

I had that problem. Other than that great :)
