Hi
Anyone used this new wormer yet? sounds a bit too good to be true that you can feed it like treats... would be interested to hear if anyone has used and if the horse thought they were tasty

i sell some at work. you do literally feed them like treats. u also can have a placebo tablet that is the same shape and taste so u can see if they eat it without wasting an actual tablet if they spit it out!

I have used them. I had to worm 5 horses. Some of them ate them happily some didnt and not necessarily the ones you would expect! LOL! The really fussy feeder ate them easily whilst the walking dustbin was very suspicious!

Out of the 5, I had 3 tricky ones. I fed each tablet with a small handful of feed with no further problems.

I would use them again although for me it took longer as I usually use paste but I would say it was better as there was no waste.

I tried my 3 with the placebo tablets and they all ate them no bother - even my fussy arab! my friend had to feed with a polo but had no problems either, I think the only down side is that you can have to feed about 6 of the tablets so if your horse doesnt like them then you have to try 6 times.....but they seem a winner to me.

Yeah we tried the Placebo tablets first and when they went down well they got the reel thing. Far easier than getting the paste in, as mine try to spit it out.
