Anyone used this for prevention/management of a regular sufferer of chorioptic mites?

Just wondered what it's like to use and if it stains the legs yellow (as contains sulphur).

Dectomax injections have got the situation under control. And regular shampooing with a selenium-sulphide shampoo is helping. But, as my cob has chronic pastern dermatitis (or possibly low-level CPL) I feel it's important to ensure that the mites don't increase/build up. His legs are and will remain clipped which obviously helps too.

Any other ideas or suggestions most welcome :)

sorry I don't know, but would like to know also if it helps, not to worried about the staining though as my horse is black :-)

I used this last year on my mare and i found it worked well. Cant comment on the staining though as she has black legs. I also used diatomaceous earth. Really cheap to buy and i just rubbed it in to the hair and left it on x

Thanks WP. I'm using the DE every so often too... Just can't tell if its doing much as he's symptom free at moment. Maybe using the two intermittently is not such a bad idea... Thank you
