As a very brief background I was employed to take care of a horse who i fell madly in love with- sole care for a few years during which time the owner rode twice and he suffered intermittant lameness. Money's been thrown at the problem no vet knows whats wrong and although he can be sound for a while he always becomes lame again.
Cortisone jabs were good but becoming less and less effective and the vet recommended he was pts.
I was heartbroken and begged for a chance to try by myself with him on the condition he would be pts if no better.
For a long time he was bad but grazed and ate and looked well in himself so he just chilled in the field/got spoilt etc
I had him cortisoned again hoping he's get a nice summer (it only lasts about 8 weeks now) We started hacking quietly and he was ok on flat surfaces- struggled a bit with hills.
I bought some Equine America Buteless out of desperation really, I dont believe in herbal things usually but its amazing stuff! He's the best i've ever known him and is actually being naughty!
A few weeks ago he took off with me at a flat out gallop (no i know thats not the best thing to happen ;-)) what better proof he's feeling well? He feels fantastic- really strong and powerful. The dressage star/hunter i hear he was before i met him.
I cant explain how happy i am!!!!
If anyone has similar problems i urge you to give it a try its fairly cheap and hopefully its saved my horse in a lifetime!

I use this on my old mare on a daily dosage for maintenance aswell as she is fantastic on it. She was gettin stiff but is now looking well again she's 25 and looks like she did when she was 10 again :) it's brillaint stuff and price wise compared to most of the joint suplements is very cheap. So glad he's feeling comfortable and full of beans again ! :D

I have been singing the praises of the regular strength stuff for years now, my mare is barely sound without it, or on a cheaper brand, totally sound on it.
