Anyone have experience on this product? My horse has some memory pain relating to a kissing spine diagnosis. Vet has recommended an extension of pain management after the Danilon he was on to help with the memory of pain reaction. I am taking things slowly with him, including taking about 5 minutes to saddle him up, to reassure him that the saddle isn't a source of pain (to close out comments some may have, his saddle has been checked by a master saddler). Looking at continuing treatment but looking around for a good replacement. I am aware that the product is not allowed in competition but that is not an issue as I am not looking at competing until he is good in himself.

Its a devils claw product I think, so it will work for pain. If your horse responded to Danilon (some back issues don't) then he should respond to that and it's kinder on the stomach too. But if he is no longer in pain and just remembering pain, then I don't understand why your vet thinks it would change anything?

If it’s memory why would a pain killer help ?
if you try a Danilon and the horse improves the horse has pain , that’s what I would do .
