Hi all,
I am after some advice and opinions please.
I have decided that I know how I want to channel my horsiness and need your ideas on the best qualifications out there. I want to help people who have problem horses or who have just lost their confidence in general so sort of a confidence coach/problem solver! I have met, known, come across so many people who have a horse in the field that they love and care for but don't ride either because the horse has problems or they themselves have lost their confidence but they can't bring themselves to sell them!
I have been teaching for years (unqualified so only people who have approached me and asked for help!) and the majority of people who ask me for help have sone Kind of confidence issue so instead of just teaching I have looked at the individuals and their horses holistically taking into account feed, routine, behaviour on the ground (horse and owner), goals and riding style and developed a training plan according to those things.
I personally have also always worked with problem horses and youngsters.
I think to Market myself in this way and develop a business I think I will need some qualifications so I'm thinking to start with I need to complete my stages and become an AI. Also I believe an equine behaviour course would be worthwhile, this is where I need recommendations for worthwhile courses as there are so many?
In the future I'd also plan to do equine massage and herbal remedies so that I can mix my own blends!
