Hi my name is Amy childs, im currently studying at Hartpury College studying for an Bsc Hons degree in Equine Sports Science. As part of my degree i have to complete a dissertation. The title for my project is - An investigation into the perceptions of equine stereotypic behaviour between horse and non horse owners. I have chosen this area as i believe that there is not enough knowledge into the causes of equine behaviours hence why they are deemed bad through the terminology 'vices'.
To collect my data i have produced questionnaires and would be very grateful if any one interested could take maximum of 10 minutes to complete one for me.

If any one participating would like a copy of results feel free to email me at amy.childs@hartpury.ac.uk with your details.

Thank you for your time

Amy

Done. No 7 should be two questions.

If you're at Hartpury, judging on the several visits I've made there, you might get the opportunity to observe some stereotypical behaviours first hand. As well as the obvious I saw a couple of horses looking pretty shut down in their stables. Lack of turnout is an issue I would say, and I don't think they take on board that some horses get very stressed by a noisy environment. Having the radio playing and people yelling up and down the stable barn is hell for some horses.

I'm afraid I had to get that off my chest... :-)

Done. Have a quick proof-read through your questions,crib-biting (one t) and choose not chose. Might be a couple of others, didn't notice. Being picky I know, but it always pays to be correct when presenting such things. Good luck with it. :)
