I seem to remember reading about a livery yard in North London/Hertfordshire which ran a car boot sale every weekend, and one weekend a month an equine car boot sale.

I cant remember the name of the yard unfortunately - just wondered if anyone else had heard about it?

It has come to my attention (thanks Nats_UK) that I might be a bit of a hoarder and my horses really dont need in excess of 45 rugs each (I am too scared to count the exact number) and I really dont need much of the other stuff that I have accumulated over the years. So I am thinking about selling anything that I havent used in the last 12 months but cant be bothered to list things on ebay (it would take me days to take photos etc) and cant be bothered to deal with endless questions about whether cob sized boots would fit a cob.

Thanks.

Me too!
I know they used to have one at Crown Corner but that was never a regular thing.

I also have a tackroom full of stuff I never use!

I may have to act on your other suggestion and set up my own for London/Essex and no-one appears to know about the yard that I am talking about.

If only I could find that website again!

That's this month!

There is a yard in North London though that has one every month ... will try googling and will post if I can find it.

I had the same idea about the tack-swap website but then thought the logistics of people meeting up etc was too difficult. Several book clubs in London sort of operate in this way - people list what they have been reading and want to read and try to match with each other. Bit easier with books though ...
