Anyone know of any equine rescure centers in Mid Wales, Herefordshire, Shropshire and the surounding area's?

I know of a few but just wondered if anyone else could come up with anymore as its funny what you miss even when they are quite local to you.

I ask because I would like to go in to equine rehabilation and see the training and everything that gos on behind to sences so i'd like to go and talk to some of these places and maybe volunteer for them if that possible.

Any ideas will be great

Where can i find contact detail for Bransby? I have tried before but they like to keep very quiet about their yard in herefordshire, i *believe* its just a holding yard, its not open to the public (?) correct me if im wrong though.
 
Sorry don't know any inside info just know it's there somewhere!!! Best to contact head office with a nicely worded letter regarding your plans/aims etc and see if they can put you in contact with them!
 
Thanks cometitiondiva, thats the plan, I was going to start with the RSPCA at Shrewsbury first and then go on to talk to the others after, working down to the lesser known centers.

I've had ponies from SWHP before now so I've seen a bit already, as SWHP envolves you in the rehbilation process quite a lot. I'm hoping to do some work experence there aswell as the other places.
