Went today.

Anyone else there??

Thought the demo's were good, saw the "Think like a Pony" and the vaulting (oh yeah..... so gonna try it, right - someone better get the air ambulance here waiting :))

But thought the exhibits were, shall we say, samey. Same people, same stalls, same place in the building...... yawn.

Think maybe the gate-entry reflected that? As noticeably less people than in previous years.

Anyone else care to comment?

Its Mary King tomorrow, so that should be good.

Agreed. Went Saturday afternoon and was very disappointed. Same old exhibits and no real bargains to be had. I, too, thought there were fewer people and although the demos are always good to watch, overall it is not worth the (I think) pretty hefty entrance fee. I won't be bothering next year.

We had a stand there (the feed merchants outside on the ramp you walk down to come in) and thought Saturday was very quiet, today a parking assistant said that the gate entry was down by 65% on the previous year! Today was very busy which I would assume was because of Mary King. I didn't see any demos, had a walk around a few times but I don't need anything and I'm rubbish at spending money for the sake of it. I think exhibitors were cheered by Sundays busyness, after the quiet of Saturday.

Everyone obviously waited for today to see Mary then :) If organisers can't/won't change the layout a bit, I think they defo need to reduce the entry fee. I hope, overall, you had a successful weekend SpotTheRisk.

We went today, thought it was really busy. I did get one really good bargain, a half price toggi coat which I was pleased with - and Mary King signed a copy of her book for me. I did think there weren't as many bargains, and it's all a bit samey. Flippin expensive to get in too!
