Just wondering how much it costs you to get you to get your horse's teeth done by an equine dental technician or vet or whoever you use? I think mine is quite reasonable but I just want to be sure!

£30 per horse, that includes 73 miles of travel....! Eeeek! Wouldn't change for the world though, trust him immensely, and he is very very good with the horses.

Colin Hill in Warfield has always done ours. Very patient with both of them especially the stroppy mare. We are now in Bookham and he is travelling to us for £40 per horse incl call out. If you google edt he is on the register.
If you want his number pm me and I will find it.

Don't want to hijack but does anyone have recommendations for an EDT in the Berks/Hants area?

Martin Walls - I don't know exactly where he is but he travels about a bit. I won't let anyone else near my horse's teeth, and know a LOT of people who think the same.

Dental Technicians are a bit like vets, they charge whatever they want for treatment really as there is no specified charge for the things they do. As a result you can pay £25 for treatment & you can be charged £45 for the same treatment by another. In my experience the more expensive technician isn't necessarily the better one.

EDT-very good, gentle man and charges £30 per horse, but he comes and does a full days worth of horses on the yard, so might be more expensive for just one.
